Luxury Suites with Frescos have unique historic value. They are located on the first floor and offer a magnificent view of Kanonicza Street winding picturesquely toward the Wawel hill. Suite no. 103, called the Coat of Arms Suite, also holds secrets of the Old Masters. Its wooden beam ceiling dates back to 1370, while the 16th-century polychrome paintings uncovered on the walls afford an outstanding opportunity to admire genuine art in a hotel setting. The best preserved fresco is Maria Immaculata (Immaculate Mary with the Child). Each deluxe suite consists of a sitting room and a bedroom with a plinth bed. Suites no. 101 and 103 feature a sofa that can be used by children under 14 years of age. Vestiges of a bygone era coexist with daring architectural solutions. Marble-lined bathrooms have been inscribed into the bedroom space and covered with ac glass roof. Each bathroom comprises a bathtub and shower. Suite no. 101, known as Canons’ Apartment, is decorated with a magnificent fresco depicting four Church Fathers (St. Jerome, St. Gregory the Great, St. Ambrose and St. Augustine). The work dates back to 1500.
